Summary of Experience

Rochelle Moore founded Save Moore Tax & Accounting Services, Inc. in Clinton in February of 2002.  Rochelle has over fourteen years of progressive accounting and tax experience.  Rochelle’s focus is in serving her client’s everyday bookkeeping needs, meeting their federal and state tax filing requirements, and exceeding their expectations for financial growth opportunities and tax saving strategies.  

Mrs. Moore’s experiences have included the following:

·        Business and individual tax compliance and projections

·        Financial planning including tax, investment, insurance, retirement and estate planning

·        Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including payroll

·        Fixed asset and depreciation reporting maintenance

·        New business start-up, including entity selection and all registrations

·        Merger and acquisition due diligence analysis

·        Research and experimentation credit studies

·        Cost classification studies for new or significantly improved facilities

·        Representation before the IRS and state taxing authorities

Prior to venturing out on her own, Rochelle was a Tax Manager with an international public accounting firm in Chicago and then with a national firm in Champaign.  Rochelle has worked with individuals and companies of all sizes in a number of industries, including retail, manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, farming, real estate and a variety of service industries.

Professional Affiliations

Rochelle is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce.  Mrs. Moore has also been a guest speaker for accounting, finance and law students at the University of Illinois.

 

Community Involvement

As an active member of her community, Mrs. Moore is the Treasurer for Habitat for Humanity of DeWitt County, a Trustee for Harp Township, a Director on the Board of the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Business and Professional Women’s organization in Clinton where she was awarded Young Careerist of 2004 for Central Illinois.

In November of 2005, Mrs. Debrah Douglas joined the firm as an Office Assistant. Debby is a 25-year resident of Clinton, spending the last 15-years as bookkeeper and human resource manager for Sunset Inn and Suites. Debby is also the President of the local chapter of Operation Homefront.
